Equestrians, speak up!


The City of San Marcos would like to hear from the equestrian community.


San Marcos is considering a change to its trails safety rules to allow motorized electric bicycles that travel up to 15-20 miles per hour on trails that currently are restricted to equestrians, hikers and traditional bicycles.


It will require a charter amendent to change trail usage rules to allow electric bicycles on the City's public trails system, and the City seeks public response from the equestrian community regarding this proposed change.
